Just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who sent me messages and posts for both my birthday and college graduation. It really means a lot to me. I wanted to write to every one of the comments, but I was so busy trying to coordinate and finish everything, I just had no time.

Portfolio Review went much better than I had expected, and I'm super thankful to my friends and family for all their help. I got a few prospects and business cards from industry professionals who came in to check out the graduates' work, and lots of compliments about my "uniqueness" hehe. I'll have to get a copy of some of the photos my cousin took of my display and show everyone.

I've been asked how I feel now that I'm a college graduate, and the answer is.. weird. Lol. I don't think it's quite sunk in yet. I guess it's because I know I'll be going back to school someday for my Masters Degree.

Huge hugs all around, you guys all rock my world. It's been a crazy ride, and now I can rest a little.

That's right, it's fiiiiinally happening... I graduate this week. It's been a long run, with lots of good memories and lots of bad.. I just want to sleep for a week after Friday is over. Anyway, I'll finally be able to get back to certain projects after this is all over. Ie. my commission work and some art trades. You know who you are. ^_~

Yyyep. It's that day again. I'm officially 24, although I've felt like I'm a disgruntled 30-something for the past decade.

It really is amazing... every year, each new birthday, you desire less and less to have a party or even ask for gifts. When people ask me what I want, I draw a blank... I don't know. I don't really WANT anything, I suppose! There's always practical things like household stuff... maybe some money to help pay for my graduation expenses.. That sort of thing. But really no desire for something just because or for fun. I used to get all excited and make a list, but it's just slowly disappeared over the past few years. *shrug*

What did I do today, you ask?

I went to class.

So I'm sitting here.. waiting for my laundry to finish. I have dress rehearsal today for portfolio review. Which is funny because they told me it was Thursday, and then yesterday I get an email saying that was a mistake.. and rehearsal is actually Wednesday. I pretty much have to have everything done already. Except for the mass printing of stuff for my demo reel DVDs and constructing my actual display/kiosk thing, for which I thankfully have most of the supplies. A friend helped me all yesterday make my stupid demo reel, which is... not going to look so great compared to everyone else's because I don't actually have any ANIMATION clips. All I have is paintings. Paintings, paintings, paintings. So we strung together a bunch of the best ones, kinda like a slideshow... It looks cool, thanks to my friend's know-how of Premier but I'm afraid of what the instructors are going to say, content-wise.

Every day I've been having panic attacks... headaches... and even a bloody nose.. every damn day.. Can you believe that? Wtf, seriously. I've gotten a bloody nose 1-3 times every day for over a week and a half now. What is up with that? I've gone through a box of tissues already because of it, and my nose is just raw. My mom thinks it's the weather, but.. the weather has never affected me like this before. Dry weather never gave me a bloody nose; not once.

So after this, I have to finish the rest of my display, do my DVDs, business cards, fix any bugs on my site, also find the time to finish finals a week early for my other two classes (because I'll be graduating the last week, so those must be finished early), AND find a way to clean my disastrous apartment in time for my family and boyfriend to come down from Alaska for grad. In the next two weeks.

I want to pull my hair out... It shouldn't be this bad.. I guess I really don't handle stress well at all. :/
